Larry Herz has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Larry began their career as a Paramedic/Fire Lieutenant at the Manteno Community Fire Protection District in 1984 and worked there until 1999.
In 1998, Larry joined Insuresoft, LLC as a Network Administrator, where they were responsible for maintaining server and network infrastructure, performing desktop helpdesk duties, and managing various production servers such as AD, IIS, Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL.
Larry then transitioned to Huron Consulting Group in 2013, where they served as a Senior Systems Administrator in the Legal Infrastructure department. Larry'sresponsibilities included supporting and maintaining e-discovery applications, developing PowerShell scripts for process automation, and implementing configuration automation using Chef. Larry stayed with Huron Consulting Group until 2015.
From 2015 to 2022, Larry worked at AHEAD, Inc. Larry initially held the position of Senior Data Center Engineer, where they played a crucial role in managing and maintaining data center operations. Later, in 2019, they were promoted to Senior Technical Consultant, supporting various technical projects and providing expertise to clients.
Currently, Larry is employed at iManage as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, starting in February 2022. Additional details about their role at iManage are not provided.
Larry Herz attended Kankakee Community College from 1988 to 1989, studying paramedicine. Afterwards, in 1989 to 1990, they enrolled at the National Fire Academy to pursue studies in fire protection. In terms of additional certifications, Larry obtained the Certified Chef Developer certification from Chef Software in September 2017.
