Lauren Higbee has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles.
Starting in 2010, they worked as a Writing and Editing Consultant for various clients, creating website content and providing ongoing support.
In 2011, they joined Aviva plc as a Broker Escalations Advisor, managing broker accounts and creating a case management database using Salesforce. Lauren also worked on an IT project to migrate accounts onto Oracle.
From 2012 to 2012, Lauren worked as a Marketing Associate (Contract) at kCura, a software company specializing in litigation support.
In 2013, they became a Business Development & Communications Executive at BladeRoom Group Ltd, responsible for business development and communications.
Starting in 2016, Lauren worked at Laserfiche as a Senior Customer Marketing Manager, driving customer engagement and advocacy initiatives. Lauren also served as a Retention Marketing Manager and a Marketing Project Manager during their time there.
Currently, they are employed at iManage as an Enablement Communications Manager. In this role, they develop communications strategies and community engagement programs to maximize customer and partner investments in iManage.
In addition to their professional experience, Lauren also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of East Anglia in 2010, providing data sorting and compilation for a research project on consumer transportation decisions. The resulting paper was accepted for publication in the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management.

Lauren Higbee holds an MA degree in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. Lauren pursued their undergraduate studies at Macalester College, where they obtained a BA degree in English (Creative Writing) and Sociology. Furthermore, they have acquired various certifications throughout their career. These include a Content Marketing Certification and a Sales Enablement Certification from HubSpot Academy in November 2022, as well as certifications in Customer Experience: Journey Mapping from LinkedIn in April 2022 and Building Your Visibility as a Leader from LinkedIn in August 2021. Additionally, they have gained expertise in program management through the Certified Influitive Program Manager certification from Influitive in April 2021. In the past, Lauren also completed professional development courses through FEMA and Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, including ICS (Incident Command System) courses and Wide Area Search. Lastly, they obtained a CF APMP certification from APMP in May 2014.
