Lauren Lappin's work experience begins in 2013 as a Sales Assistant at SPAR, where they worked for five months. In 2015, they joined McDonald's Corporation as a Crew Trainer and remained in that role until 2019. During their time at McDonald's, they also worked at Russells as a Sales Assistant for a few months. From 2019 to 2021, Lauren took on a Tech Support Placement role at Ulster University. After that, they worked as a Waitress at Ryan's Bar Belfast from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Lauren is working at iManage as a Technical Support employee, starting in June 2022.

Lauren Lappin completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Ulster University, from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a BTEC degree in ICT from South West College, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. In their earlier education, from 2008 to 2014, Lauren attended St Joseph's Grammar Donaghmore, where they pursued A Levels in ICT, English Literature, Physics, Technology, and Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Lauren has acquired various certifications. These include certifications in blockchain basics and blockchain beyond the basics from LinkedIn, attained in July 2020. Lauren also completed various training courses on Microsoft SharePoint Online, such as configuring and managing it, designing a SharePoint taxonomy, and its essential training, which were obtained in October 2019. Lauren has also earned certifications from Microsoft, including MTA: Database Fundamentals in 2018 and MTA: Windows Operating System Fundamentals in 2019.
