Matt Smith

Matt Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matt is currently working as a Content Development Manager at iManage since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Technical Writer at the same company from May 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining iManage, Matt worked at Jellyvision, where they held multiple positions. Matt started as an Interactive Product Apprentice in June 2016 and then progressed to become a Customer Product Specialist from November 2016 to January 2019. Subsequently, they served as a Core Product Specialist from January 2019 to January 2020.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a Writer for Buzz Magazine at The Daily Illini from August 2015 to June 2016. Matt also served as an IT Technician at Illinois Natural History Survey from November 2014 to June 2016. Additionally, they worked briefly as an IT Technician/Contract Worker at TEKsystems from March 2014 to July 2014.

Before transitioning into the tech industry, Matt gained experience as a Guitar Instructor at Ginkgo Tree Café / Traditional Wellness Center from January 2012 to January 2014.

Matt Smith began their education journey by obtaining an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Sauk Valley Community College between 2012 and 2014. Matt then pursued further education and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2014 to 2016.
