Robert Florendine

Robert Florendine has a strong background in knowledge engineering and legal data management. Robert worked at iManage as the Manager of Knowledge Engineering from December 2021 to present, where they also held the positions of Head of Legal Data from October 2018 to December 2021 and Solutions Manager from May 2017 to December 2021. Prior to iManage, Robert worked at RAVN Systems as a Solutions Architect from May 2016 to December 2021. Robert also gained experience at Phoenix Business Solutions as a Pre-Sales Consultant from March 2014 to May 2016 and as a Legal Software Trainer from April 2008 to March 2014, specializing in various legal software solutions and conducting training and software testing. Robert started their career as a Legal Intern at Fasken Martineau LLP in August 2012, where they worked with the I. T and Pharmaceutical teams. Robert also interned at Nabarro LLP in July 2012, focusing on Projects and Energy, where they conducted research on PFI contracts and various energy contracts. Prior to their legal career, Robert worked as an EDMS Coordinator at Bantrel from September 2004 to January 2008. Overall, Robert has a diverse range of experience in knowledge engineering, legal data management, pre-sales consulting, and legal internships in both law firms and technology companies.

Robert Florendine completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at The University of Sheffield from 2000 to 2003. Subsequently, they pursued Law and attended the College of Law, London, where they completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) from 2009 to 2010, followed by the Legal Practice Course (LPC) from 2010 to 2012.
