Spilios Alexopoulos

Spilios Alexopoulos has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Spilios most recently worked at iManage starting in 2020, where they held the position of Senior Engineering Manager since August 2021 and previously worked as an Engineering Manager until August 2021.

Prior to iManage, Spilios worked at World First from December 2016 to March 2020, serving as a Development Manager (Tribe Lead).

Before that, they were employed at OpenBet from September 2011 to January 2016. During their time at OpenBet, Spilios held various roles including Development Lead, Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead, and Software Developer. As a Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead, they were responsible for leading the Gaming Stream (Casino & Poker platforms) for the Skybet account, managing integration and delivery of internal products, and leading platform improvement initiatives.

Spilios started their career at Sports.Comm in October 2008, where they worked as a Web & Mobile Application Developer until August 2010.

Spilios also had a role at Virtual Trip Group as a Software Developer from July 2006 to April 2007.

Spilios Alexopoulos earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the TEI (Technological Educational Institute) of Athens, where they studied from 2003 to 2009. Spilios then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in High Performance Computing at The University of Edinburgh from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including being a Certified LESS practitioner from Scrum Alliance in September 2017, Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in September 2017, and completing training for Professional Scrum Master from QA Ltd in June 2016. Spilios has also attended the IBM Informix Programmer’s Performance workshop, but the specific institution and date of that certification are unavailable.
