Tom Clabon has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Tom started their career in 2008 as an Extreme Blue Technical Intern at IBM Hursley Laboratories, where they worked on improving information retrieveability. This experience led to a patent application and further publications.

In 2009, Tom joined IBM Hursley Laboratories again, this time as an MQ Z/OS Tester. Tom gained expertise in IBM WebSphere MQ on z/OS and developed tests for a new feature of the product.
