Vela Shan

Vela Shan has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. They began their career in 1996 as a Software Engineer at SRA Systems, where they worked until 1997. They then joined AMS as a Sr. Software Engineer from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, Vela joined Microsoft Corporation as an SDE, where they worked until 2003. In 2003, they started working at iManage as a Principal Engineer and concurrently joined Interwoven in the same year as a Staff Engineer. They remained at Interwoven until 2011. From 2010 to 2015, Vela also worked at Autonomy - HP as a FileSite Manager. Overall, Vela has a strong background and progressive experience in software engineering roles.

Vela Shan earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Madras. This educational achievement occurred between the years 1989 and 1993. Following that, Vela pursued a Masters degree in Computer Science from Anna University, which was completed within the time frame of 1994 to 1996.
