Ben Breimer

Ben Breimer, M.A.Sc, is an experienced Embedded Software Developer currently at IMAX since August 2019, previously holding similar roles at TMV Control Systems and Candu Energy. At TMV Control Systems, Ben contributed to the development of electronics and control systems for locomotives, while at Candu Energy, significant involvement included the modernization of safety-critical software for CANDU reactors and integration testing of nuclear plant display systems. Ben's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Mechatronics Engineering from McMaster University, where research focused on fault diagnosis in adaptive cruise control systems. Additionally, Ben has served as a Teaching Assistant and participated in various research projects during academic tenure.
