Chris Gray

Chris Gray currently serves as the Director of Theatre Development EMEA at IMAX, having joined the company in February 2024. Previously, Chris held the position of Director of Acquisitions at Freestyle Digital Media from February 2021 to February 2024, where responsibilities included negotiating film acquisition contracts, attending global film festivals, and managing project tracking systems. Before that, Chris worked at Crackle Plus as the Director of Programming and Acquisitions, leading a team in scheduling and content strategy, as well as collaborating with ad sales to enhance viewer engagement. Chris's early career includes a role as Manager of International Sales and Acquisitions at Lakeshore Entertainment, where Chris developed strong distributor relationships and generated sales estimates for numerous projects. Chris holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from UCLA.
