Michael Hesse is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in enterprise applications and information technology. Currently serving as the Vice President of Enterprise Applications at IMAX since April 2022, Hesse previously held senior roles at Canopy Growth Corporation as Senior Director of Global Application Services, and at Weston Foods (Canada) Inc., where responsibilities included Vice President of Information Technology and Senior Director of IT ERP & Application Services for North America. Earlier career milestones include leadership positions in business intelligence and consulting at Indigo Books & Music Inc., Apotex Inc., and Descartes Systems Group. Hesse holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics & Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computational Mathematical Science from York University, complemented by a CORS Diploma in Operations Research.
