Paul Sweeney

Paul Sweeney has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2024-present, they serve as the VP of Technology at IMAX. Prior to this, they were a Principal at Salience Consulting starting from 2020. Paul also held the position of Non Executive Director at Volograms from 2018. From 2021-2023, they were the VP, Head of Product Development at PCH International. From 2015-2019, they held multiple roles at DAQRI including Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director (DAQRI International), and Vice President Of Worldwide Sales. Before that, they were the VP Sales and Marketing at InnaLabs™ Ltd from 2013-2015. Paul also worked as a Senior Manager Enterprise Support at Citrix Systems from 2011-2013. At Xilinx, they held several positions including EMEA Business Operations Manager, Senior Business Manager, and EMEA Services Business Development Manager from 2006-2011. Prior to that, they were the Head of Programs, Applications and Support at Acra Control Ltd. from 2001-2006, and the Head of R&D at Frontend from 2000-2001.

Paul Sweeney completed their education at the University of Limerick, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering in 1994. Paul then pursued a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from 1994 to 1999 at the same university. Additionally, in 1995, they briefly studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Twente.
