Michael Rosenthal is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in machine learning and software development. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Generally Intelligent since February 2022, Michael previously held roles including Platform Engineer at Verily Life Sciences and Lead Data and Operations Engineer at Environmental Defense Fund. Imbue builds AI systems that can reason, in order to enable AI agents that can accomplish larger goals and safely work for us in the real world. To do this, they train foundation models optimized for reasoning. On top of their models, they prototype agents to accelerate their own work, seriously using them in order to shed light on how to improve the underlying model capabilities, as well as the interaction design for agents.
