Oliver Werneyer

Oliver Werneyer has worked in various positions in the financial services industry since 2006. Oliver began their career as an Actuarial Specialist at Liberty Life, where they were involved in a variety of departments and was the public spokesperson for the life insurance side of the business. In 2010, they moved to Genworth Financial as a Portfolio Management Actuary and Framework Actuary, leading the Portfolio Risk Committee and managing the in-force business for Genworth Financial International. In 2011, they co-founded LSW Technologies, a mobile application programming company based in London, and served as the Commercial Director. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Swiss Re as a Customer Technology Manager, Innovation Manager, and Data and Distribution Leader. During this time, they led and contributed to many innovation and technology-related projects, as well as developed, integrated, and delivered new technologies and concepts. In 2015, they became the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Imburse, a company that provides integration-free access to the global payments ecosystem.

Oliver Werneyer attended the Deutsche Schule Pretoria from 1988 to 2001, where they achieved an IEB Matric in High School. Oliver then attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics.
