Through film, podcasts, exhibitions, and immersive experiences, we explore the intersections of culture, history, and identity. Our work is rooted in amplifying othered voices—those often pushed to the periphery of mainstream narratives. We see storytelling as a radical tool for resistance and repair.

At the heart of IMBUU is a commitment to truth-telling that is both intimate and expansive. Whether it’s tracing ancestral knowledge across the tides of the Niger Delta, or documenting global movements through a decolonial lens, we strive to unearth the unseen, reclaim the erased, and honour the everyday lives that shape our world.
