Devashru Patel

Devashru Patel is a Quantitative Trader and Software Engineer at IMC Trading since February 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Google as a Software Engineering Intern, where contributions led to performance improvements in Android applications, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the College of Computing at Georgia Tech, where a machine learning pipeline for CDC data was developed, achieving a 5% forecasting error for weekly suicide rates. Additional experience includes research at the University of South Florida utilizing machine learning for diabetes risk prediction and serving as a Teaching Assistant for an Object-Oriented Programming course. Devashru holds a Master of Science in Machine Learning and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Georgia Institute of Technology.
