Eric Lambert

Eric Lambert has over 25 years of work experience, with a focus on roles in Linux and Unix system administration and engineering. Eric is currently the Linux Engineering Manager at IMC Trading, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to that, Eric was a Systems Engineer at IMC Trading starting from April 2019. Before joining IMC, they worked at Citadel for 19 years, where they held various positions including Platform Engineering Controls Manager and Technical Architecture Manager. Eric also served as a Senior Unix System Administrator at Goldman Sachs for a year and worked as a Unix System Administrator at Hull Trading Co. Eric began their career as a Unix Manager at DeVry University. Throughout their career, Eric has been involved in enabling, engineering, and supporting cutting-edge technologies and solutions for leading global financial firms and market makers.

Eric Lambert obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geographic Information Science, Environmental Science and Forestry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Eric attended the university from 1987 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Deerfield High School from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Eric Lambert also obtained a certification in "Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: Chicago Managers V4.1" from Traliant in October 2022.
