Ericka Loynes

Ericka Loynes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ericka is currently serving as the Director of Organizational Design and Development at IMC Companies since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Kohl's for many years, where they held roles such as Senior Instructional Designer and D&I Lead, Senior Instructional Designer, and Instructional Designer in the HR-Talent Development department. Ericka collaborated with leaders and peers to establish training approaches, audited curriculum, and designed and facilitated training on topics like unconscious bias and inclusive leadership. Ericka also served as a liaison between the training team and business resource groups. Before joining Kohl's, Ericka worked as a Web Merchandise Writer for the E-Commerce department, writing persuasive copy and creating copy standards and templates.

Additionally, Ericka worked as an Associate Faculty member at the University of Phoenix and as a Technical Writer and Consultant at Compuware Corporation, where they collaborated with subject matter experts to create training resources. Ericka also had a role as a Publications and Editorial Graduate Assistant at Northern Illinois University, where they wrote and edited content and supported journal editing and publishing. Ericka also worked as an Independent Contractor for One Smooth Stone and as an Event Marketing Project Coordinator for One Smooth Stone, a PRA event and communication agency.

Ericka Loynes holds a Master of Arts degree in English, with a focus on Rhetoric and Professional Writing from Northern Illinois University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Communication from Trinity International University. In addition to their degrees, Ericka has acquired several certifications, including A2E Business Fundamentals, Management Accelerator Program, Business Strategy, Problem Solving, Qualified Administrator, and EQ Assessor Certification (EQAC). These certifications were obtained from institutions such as McKinsey & Company, IDI, LLC, and Six Seconds. The most recent certification they obtained was the A2E Business Fundamentals from McKinsey & Company in June 2021.
