Lars Wallstein is an experienced managing director with a strong background in the specialty chemicals industry. Currently serving as Managing Director at IMCD N.V. since August 2019, Lars has previously held the same position at Synthomer Deutschland GmbH, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple plants and regional headquarters. With a proven track record at Synthomer in various leadership roles, including Director of SBU Functional Solutions and Director of SBU Construction & Coatings, Lars focused on driving organic and M&A growth across diverse applications. Prior experience includes leading the Business Unit Specialties at PolymerLatex GmbH and strategic business development in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Lars holds an MBA/Dipl. Kfm. in Business Management from the University of Münster.
