Ali May

Ali May is a seasoned professional in lighting design and production with extensive experience in various roles within the entertainment industry. From 2008 to 2021, Ali served as a Lighting Designer for LAVA, collaborating closely with the design team to create a unified vision for performances. Currently, Ali works as an Electrician at Studio RRD and holds multiple positions including Lighting Director at Freeman Company and Electrician & Followspot Operator at NBCUniversal. An educator, Ali also supports elementary and middle school students with special needs as a Substitute Teacher in the NYC Department of Education. Ali earned a BFA in Entertainment Design/Technology from Purchase College, SUNY, in 2004.
