Zack Saunders is a skilled lighting designer with diverse experience in the performing arts sector. Currently serving as a Lighting Designer at National Sawdust since February 2024, Zack also holds positions as Lighting Associate at Peridance Center and Assistant Lighting Designer at IMCD Lighting, both starting in late 2022. In addition, Zack works as an Electrician for The Public Theater and previously held the role of Lighting Designer & Head Electrician at Hope Summer Repertory Theatre. Additional experience includes working as an Electrician at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and a Photography Assistant at Jeff Cohen Photography. Zack's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with a focus on Lighting Design and Technology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a High School Diploma from Highland Park High School.
