Rocky Barker

Rocky Barker is a Principal Technical Specialist at Imdex Limited, where they focus on integrating field-based geoscience with data-driven decision-making. With extensive experience as a geologist and a data scientist, Rocky has previously worked as a Geological Technician at Sumitomo Metal Mining Pogo LLC and consulted as a Geology Specialist from 2017 to 2020. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Oregon State University, a Master of Science in Geology from Colorado State University, and a PhD in Geochemistry/Data Science from The University of Waikato. Passionate about fostering collaboration across technical domains, Rocky aims to enhance workflows and client understanding in the geosciences.
