Adebayo Abejide

Adebayo Abejide, PhD, is an Optical Design Engineer currently working as a Photonic TRx Link Simulation Expert at imec. They are conducting research towards a PhD in telecommunication engineering at Instituto de Telecomunicações, focusing on optimizing optical transceivers for next-generation passive optical networks. Previously, they held roles as a Senior ICT Officer and Principal ICT Network Engineer at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, where they enhanced network performance and reliability. Adebayo also has experience as a Project Engineer at PICadvanced, where they contributed to the development of integrated photonic circuits. They hold a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Eastern Mediterranean University and Ahmadu Bello University, respectively.
