Bart Onsia is the Sr. Business Development Manager for Energy at imec, where they focus on innovative sustainable energy solutions. Previously, Bart served as Chairman of CORE cvba-so, a co-operative dedicated to rational energy use, and was a member of the management committee at Hyve, a collaboration aimed at advancing green hydrogen production. Their early career included roles at Bayer Antwerpen and Kerr McGee Pigments, where Bart coordinated production and maintenance operations. Bart holds an Industrial Engineer degree in Industrial Chemistry from LUCA School of Arts and has completed additional studies at KU Leuven and UAMS.
