Geert Mannaert

Geert Mannaert possesses extensive experience in process engineering and research and development, with a notable tenure at imec from July 1997 to July 2007 as an Assistant Process Engineer and later as a Senior R&D Engineer specializing in plasma etch. Responsibilities included writing work and quality testing procedures, providing training to operators and customers, and leading escalation teams to address pressing process issues. Following time at Procter & Gamble as a Laboratory Technician from May 1996 to July 1997, Geert returned to imec from 2007 to 2013 as a Process Engineer, where contributions involved the GaN power/LED program, development of critical etch processes, and project management of equipment installations. Geert holds a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Chemistry, both from KU Leuven, along with a certification in data analysis from Syntra Antwerpen en Vlaams Brabant.
