Hao Yu is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at imec, where they lead the GaN RF program, focusing on the semiconductor physics behind GaN RF devices. They previously held roles as a predoctoral student and researcher at imec, where they studied metal semiconductor contacts and characterized III-V and GaN technologies for RF applications. Hao earned their PhD from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Microelectronics from 复旦大学. In 2017, they were a visiting scholar at Purdue University.
