Hendrik Rogier

Hendrik Rogier is a distinguished academic with extensive expertise in electromagnetics and mobile communications. Hendrik served as an Associate Professor at Ghent University from October 2008 to September 2012, transitioning to roles as Assistant Professor and later Full Professor at various institutions. Currently, Hendrik holds the position of Senior Full Professor at UGent since September 2020. His previous positions include Guest Professor at imec and iMinds, focusing on antennas and propagation for future internet and 5G, as well as wearable antennas and body-centric communication. Hendrik also contributes as a Visiting Professor at the University of Buckingham. An accomplished researcher, Hendrik obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ghent University, graduating summa cum laude, and also holds a Master's degree in the same field, also with summa cum laude distinction.
