Herbert Struyf is an R&D Manager at imec, specializing in electrodeposition, process module development, and sustainable process development. With over a decade of experience at imec, they have held various leadership positions, including Group Leader for Electrodeposition and CMP, as well as Team Leader for Surface and Interface Processing. Prior to their current role, they served as Team Leader for Dry Etching and Senior Process Engineer at IMEC from 2001 to 2010. Herbert earned a Ph.D. in Sciences (Chemistry) from the University of Antwerp, where they studied from 1990 to 1996.
