Ilan Spillinger

Ilan Spillinger is the Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President at imec, a position held since 2019. They previously served as a Group Manager at IDF and worked as a Post Doctoral researcher at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Ilan spent several years at IBM, where they were Vice President of Advanced Processor Design, overseeing the development of Power-based microprocessors. Their career also includes significant roles at Intel Corporation and Microsoft, where they contributed to projects such as the Intel Centrino microprocessor and the development of the Kinect and HoloLens. They earned a PhD from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
