Iván Castro is a Biomedical Engineer with a PhD and a keen interest in research and development of medical devices, wearables, and algorithms to enhance quality of life. Currently a researcher at imec focused on health monitoring applications, Iván has experience in designing unobtrusive sensors and validating clinical applications. Prior roles include medical equipment field engineer and intern in ESD testing, complemented by extensive educational credentials, including multiple master's degrees in biomedical engineering and a doctorate from the University of Leuven.
