Joyjit Kundu

Joyjit Kundu is a Senior Research Scientist at imec, specializing in performance modeling and optimization of machine learning and high-performance computing workloads. They have an extensive background in computational physics, having earned a PhD in Statistical Physics from The Institute of Mathematical Sciences and completing postdoctoral fellowships at Berkeley Lab and Duke University. Their research encompasses AI for scientific simulations, molecular dynamics, and statistical mechanics, utilizing advanced computational techniques. Joyjit has also served as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, where they contributed to the academic community.
