Katrien Marent

Katrien Marent has a diverse range of work experience. Katrien started their career at imec in 1992 as an analog design engineer and worked in that role until 2000. From 2001 to 2002, they served as a scientific editor at imec before transitioning to the role of External Communications Director in 2002. Katrien held this position for 18 years until April 2020. In April 2020, Katrien Marent took on the role of EVP and CMO at imec. In addition to their work at imec, they also founded, managed, and taught at FlowingYOGA, a yoga studio in Leuven, from June 2011 to April 2020. The studio offered dynamic yoga classes focused on rejuvenation, energy, and relaxation.

Katrien Marent earned a degree in microelectronics and biomedical electronics from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende between 1988 and 1992. In 2010 and 2011, they obtained certification as a vinyasa yoga teacher from Svahayoga.
