Martijn Blom

Martijn Blom is currently an R&D Team Leader at imec, where they lead the Fluid-Fed Electrochemical Devices team, focusing on the integration of nanoengineered materials in electrochemical applications. Prior to this role, Martijn completed a PhD at the Universiteit Twente, researching electrochemical energy storage for large-scale applications from 2018 to 2021. Martijn holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente, both earned with distinction. Additionally, Martijn participated in the CETT scholarship program and gained practical experience as an intern at Procede Group BV, where they worked on biogas adsorption studies.
