Onur Ates

Onur Ates is an experienced engineer specializing in ASIC design and biosensor technology. As a Lead Engineer at GlakoLens from July 2017 to January 2019, Onur contributed to the development of a patented biosensor architecture for continuous intraocular pressure monitoring, working with bio-compatible polymers and implementing various thin-film processes. Since January 2019, Onur has held the position of ASIC Design Support Engineer at both imec and Qplox Engineering. Prior to this, Onur served as a Senior Researcher in IC Design and Fabrication at TÜBİTAK from November 2010 to July 2017. Onur holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi Üniversitesi and a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.
