Quentin LOMONACO, PhD, is an experienced R&D integration engineer at imec, specializing in silicon nitride photonic integration since April 2025. Prior experience includes roles as an R&D material engineer assistant at CNRS, focusing on the recycling of rare earths, and as an R&D material engineering apprentice at SOITEC, where Quentin developed a metrological control plan for thin heterostructures. As a researcher and PhD student at CEA-Leti, Quentin worked on surface-activated bonding technology, contributing to two patents and presenting at international conferences.
