Roel Scheys is the Director of Environment Health Safety at Imec, where they define and manage ambitious EHS projects to enhance safety and environmental compliance. With over 20 years of experience in EHS within large (petro)chemical, pharmaceutical, and research companies, Roel has successfully implemented culture changes in Operations and R&D. Previously, Roel held leadership roles at AB InBev, Pfizer, GSK, BP, and Nippon Shokubai Europe, earning multiple master's degrees in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, and Biology from the Catholic University of Leuven.
