Sahan Gamage is a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at imec, drawing on over 15 years of extensive experience in front-end ASIC IP development. They have led digital system design projects for low-power UHF RFID computing SoCs, while their previous roles include significant contributions to BLE digital front-end development at ARM and LDPC receiver design at Intel. Sahan holds a PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Adelaide. A prolific innovator, Sahan has filed over 30 patents in areas such as coding, communications, and digital testing.
