Sofia Drakopoulou

Sofia Drakopoulou is currently an R&D Engineer in Litho Process Development at imec and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ghent University. Previously, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Bioelectronics at École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, focusing on the development of organic electronic and optoelectronic devices for biomedical applications. Sofia also completed their PhD at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, where their research focused on organic thin films for transistors. Their early experience includes internships and roles in quality assurance and research development. Sofia holds a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Ioannina.
