Sofie Beyne is an R&D Project Leader in Quantum Computing at imec, a position held since 2023. Previously, Sofie pursued a doctoral degree at imec and contributed as a Nano-Anode R&D Engineer at SOLiTHOR, focusing on next-generation solid-state lithium battery technology. Sofie also gained experience as a Grad Student Intern at Intel Corporation. Sofie earned multiple degrees from KU Leuven, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering, both with high honors.
