Suseendran Jayachandran, PhD, currently serves as an R&D Project Manager in Photonics at imec, focusing on managing photonic projects for various applications including Datacom and Quantum since July 2025. Prior to this, Suseendran was a Staff Device Fabrication Engineer at Lightelligence, where responsibilities included the fabrication of Photonic IC devices and overseeing the full process flow of silicon photonic integration. With extensive experience at imec from 2012 to 2022 as a Senior Process Integration Engineer, Suseendran managed numerous integration processes and developed expertise in CVD and ALD depositions, as well as customer reporting and project management. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Nanoelectronics from KU Leuven, a Master's in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, also from KU Leuven, and a Bachelor's in Telecommunication Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
