Thomas Chiarella has extensive experience in electrical and electronics engineering, starting with a role as a Master Thesis Student at Thales Alenia Space in 2002, where the focus was on studying a maximum power point tracker for solar panels in space applications. From March 2002 to April 2012, Thomas worked at IMEC Leuven, initially as a Characterization & Device Engineer, contributing to technology transfers to industrial partners and baseline yield improvement for various device nodes. Thomas progressed to the role of Senior Researcher, taking charge of finFET device design for sub 20nm nodes. Thomas holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Haute Ecole Roi Baudouin, completed in 2002, and was an exchange student at CCHS-Fallon in Nevada from 1997 to 1998.
