Vincent Nollet

Vincent Nollet has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Vincent began their career as an Embedded Software Engineer at Acunia N.V. from September 1999 to October 2001, where they worked on developing embedded software for automotive platforms.

In 2001, Vincent joined imec, where they held various roles. Vincent started as an R&D Engineer and PhD Candidate, focusing on their dissertation from October 2001 to January 2005. Following that, they became a Program Manager, responsible for the Multiprocessor System-on-Chip research program, catering to clients such as Samsung, Nokia, and Freescale. Vincent held this position from January 2005 to August 2008.

Vincent then transitioned to the role of Fab Area Operations Manager at imec, where they were responsible for both process and equipment engineering for the Thin Films area of the semiconductor plants. From September 2008 to June 2012, their focus was on improving production processes and reducing operational costs.

Subsequently, Vincent assumed the role of Fab Equipment Operations Director at imec from July 2012 to January 2020. Here, they oversaw cleanroom equipment fab operations for both the 200mm and 300mm plants, ensuring timely and cost-effective results and products. Vincent bridged the gap between R&D and production through equipment maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Currently, Vincent holds the position of VP Fab Engineering at imec, which they began in January 2020. In this role, they are responsible for adding the Fab Process Engineering responsibility to the Cleanroom Equipment operations. Leading a team of process developers, engineers, technicians, and contractors, they facilitate research through equipment management, solid process engineering, and process step development for the imec CMORE technology.

Vincent Nollet completed their education in the following order:

- From 1995 to 1999, they attended Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where they received a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

- In 2001-2002, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Management at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

- From 2004 to 2005, they attended UHasselt and obtained an MBA degree.

- Finally, from 2004 to 2008, they obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology.
