Andrew May is a Mining Manager at Imerys, overseeing the mining processes for kaolin and mica in Georgia and North Carolina since August 2017. Prior roles at Imerys include Mine Planner and Geologist, where responsibilities involved short-term planning and laboratory analysis of materials. Andrew has been a student at Georgia Southwestern State University since August 2015, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Geological Science while actively participating in various academic and leadership roles, including president of the Geology Club and treasurer of the Student AIPG chapter. Previous experience includes an internship at the Americus-Sumter GIS Department and a position as Assistant Surveyor at OXFORD Construction, as well as serving as a Ranger at Philmont Scout Ranch.
