Colin Dowds is a seasoned professional in the concrete and construction industry, currently serving as Global Technical Manager at Imerys since November 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Concrete Technical Lead at Forterra PLC, Senior Assessor for The Quality Scheme for Ready Mixed Concrete, and Research and Development Manager for Tarmac. Colin Dowds has also held various managerial positions at Lafarge, including General Manager for Artevia UK and National Specification Manager for the UK, alongside a consultancy role and extensive engineering experience at Murray and Roberts.
