Daniel Lopes

Daniel Lopes currently serves as the Plant Manager at Imerys, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this, Daniel was the Operations Director for Latin America at Pearson Brasil from March 2020 to April 2023, overseeing facilities management, procurement, and supply chain operations. Daniel's extensive experience includes a role as Operational Excellence Manager at VALE, where responsibilities included the implementation of the Vale Production System and leading VPS audits, as well as coordinating digital transformation projects. Earlier positions include Mechanical Maintenance Manager at Votorantim Cimentos S/A and Production/Maintenance Manager at Alcoa, where Daniel managed operational and maintenance teams. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from UFSCar, a specialization in Financial Management from PUC Minas, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia.
