Currently serving as Technical Service Manager for Polymers at Imerys since August 2011, Dr. Schmidt previously held the positions of Technical Service & Development Manager and Technical Support Manager in the polymers divisions at Rio Tinto Minerals from September 2000 to August 2011. Dr. Schmidt holds a Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn. degree in Chemistry from Technische Universität Graz.
