Edwin Berends

Edwin Berends is currently a Project Director at Imerys British Lithium, where they oversee project execution in the lithium sector. Previously, they held several leadership positions at Albemarle Corporation, including Division Vice President Manufacturing and Vice President Project Engineering, where they drove engineering excellence and managed global project teams. Edwin earned both a Dr. Ir. (PhD) and an Ingenieur (Ir.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft between 1985 and 1994. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in strategic technology management and capital project execution across various international manufacturing sites.
