Eric Schuermans

Eric Schuermans is currently serving as Purchasing Plant Manager at Imerys since January 2023. Previously, Eric held the position of Category Manager HVAC at SPIE Belgium from January 2021 to January 2023 and worked as Purchaser in the HVAC Industry at ENGIE Solutions Belgium from October 2019 to January 2021. Additional experience includes serving as Sr Project Buyer HVAC at CEGELEC SA from November 2016 to October 2019 and as Project Procurement Manager and Senior Buyer at Waterleau from September 2009 to October 2016. Earlier career experiences include roles as Purchases & Assets Supervisor at TNT Express from 2003 to 2007 and as part of the back office at Continental Euro Services from 1999 to 2002. Eric holds a Bachelier in Law from HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège and has completed training in Public Procurement at Ecole Royale Militaire.
