Owen Herod currently serves as the Group Geology Director at Imerys, a position held since June 2011, where responsibilities include consolidating, reporting, and auditing the company's Mineral Reserves and Resources, along with leading Mineral Resource Estimation initiatives. Previously, Owen managed the initial Resource evaluation for Imerys' EMILI lithium project in France as the Geology & Mining Director, and has held multiple roles within Imerys, including Group Geology Manager and Group Geologist. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Consultant Geologist at SRK Consulting and a geologist and mining engineer at Imerys from 2002 to 2006. Owen is also the Treasurer for PERC Standard since October 2022 and holds advanced degrees in Geological Sciences, Mineral Deposit Evaluation, and Mining Engineering from prestigious institutions.
