Sofia Banou

Sofia Banou is currently the FP&A Controller for EMEA & APAC at Imerys, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this role, Sofia served as a Project Accountant at Tideway Offshore Solutions from 2013 to 2015 and held various finance positions at Abbott from 2015 to 2017. Their early career included a trainee role at GE, where they engaged in financial closing processes and project management. Sofia earned a Master’s degree in Accounting, Auditing & Control from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Patras.
